Hawaii County Fire Department extinguished a blaze in an unoccupied single-story home Tuesday night in Keaau.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at 5 p.m. Loss was estimated at $120,000 for the approximately 1,200-square-foot residents at 174437 South Road in Kurtistown, according to the fire department.
The cause is under investigation.
